Hi, I just installed a Intel Pro/1000F fiber Gigabit NIC, since there is no driver in Suse Linux, so I compiled the latest linux driver from the intel site, I have successfully installed the driver by checking with lsmod and ifconfig, all the results show that the driver has been loaded succesfully, but when I try to ping to my other nodes, it can't reached there, mean can't connect to my other nodes, some are linux, windoze and sun..... but it is working with my 3com Gigabit Ethernet Link NIC with the driver "acenic", my switch are 3com 3900, just doubt why the intel gigabit nic can work? thanks ckh :)
Hi, I'm having the same problem with the Intel PRO/100+ management adapter (721383-010) using the e100 driver on SuSE 7.1 kernel 2.4.0. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks Charles On Mon, 05 Mar 2001 10:00:10 +0800, you wrote:
