I have a IOMEGA ZIP 100 which working very slowly under kernel 2.4.2. When i execute modprobe ppa i received: ppa: Version 2.07 (for linux 2.4.x) found device at ID 6, Attempting to use EPP 32 bit ppa: Communication established with ID 6 using EPP 32 bit scsi2: Iomega VPIO(ppa) interface, Vendor IOMEGA model: ZIP 100 rev. J.03 Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI rev.02, channel 0, id6, lun 0 scsi device sda: 196608 512 - byte hdwr sectors (101 MB) sda: sda4 But when i copy a file from zip to hd it were too long (for ex.: ~5MB about 5-6 minutes).
