Hi, On my Leap 42.2 laptop I can't print PDF's in their original size. When I print then they come out scaled to an A5 when the original is an A4. That's with Okular. Is there some configuration I miss ? I searched for some scale-effect but I seem not to find it. TIA. Can't reproduce. I just printed a random pdf in okular and it printed correctly.

I searched around in the print dialog but I did not find any scaling option. Strange. But I'm not familiar with okular, I typically print from Acrobat or Evince. The only scaling option I found is the option to print several pages per sheet. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)

Did you check the 'Properties' button next to the selected printer? There the stuff like default paper size is defined - probably that one is set wrong (either in okular, or rather in the cups printer config?) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Yep, I've been having that very same problem for more than a year, it's a bit of a show-stopper for upgrading office machines. Sofar we're printing from acroread instead. https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1015478 -- Per Jessen, Zürich (8.2°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - your free DNS host, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Uh-oh. :( And still no change there? I've used okular a lot to print from a 42.2 (now 42.3) system, but that was/is a local printer. I do print permanently to remote printers from TW machines, and have never seen such a problem. Likely printer specific then? Have you tried the okular5 package for 42.2? Your last entry in the bugreport still showed 16.08.2, where Johannes mentioned it's probably fixed in 17.08 (the okular5 from wolfi323 is at 17.12.1, like TW) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I don't think so, I think I remember myself swearing loudly a couple of weeks ago when I tried printing out some address labels.

It's possible, but it works fine from older desktops with opensuse 13.1. Also works fine from acroread.

No, I tried 16.08.2 that Wolfgang Bauer prepared with the same fix. Well, with Leap422 going EOL tomorrow I guess I might as well move up to Leap42.3 and see if it works there. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (8.9°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - virtual servers, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

No change confirmed. Then I installed 16.08.3 from Wolfgang's home, again no improvement.

Looks like installing okular5 will mean updating lots of other stuff - libqt5core and such. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (8.6°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free dynamic DNS, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I installed FoxitReader and that does the job. Thanks. Koenraad. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
