[SLE] Weird Sound and /etc/modules.conf

Hello all, First off, sound IS working perfectly, it's just that I noticed something interesting today. I do *not* have the commercial OSS stuff installed, I do have sound compiled as a module (Soundblaster AWE 64). Now /etc/modules.conf is configured as if it was expecting the commercial OSS, and /etc/modules.conf.orig is configured how I remembered configuring /etc/modules.conf to enable the kernel sound drivers. Since sound is working, the kernel must be using the /etc/modules.conf.orig (instead of /etc/modules.conf) but why? And where would that sort of thing be set? And shouldn't I be able to change /etc/modules.conf.orig to /etc/modules.conf and everything still work fine? I wonder if SuSEconfig made this change.
