Hi: The other day I saw a nice trick done with netcat ; a guy opened up a port in his server (make it port 555) and I did telnet server.com 555 and then I typed a messages and he received it (probably to a file).. Does anybody no how to this?? Any reference or other uses for netcat? Thanks, Raul

Have a look at /usr/share/doc/packages/netcat/scripts/ for some examples what you can do with netcat - it is a very powerful tool.
