These remanants of the cursor only ocurr if I move the mouse quickly and are most pronounced in Word Perfect and Abiword. I have followed the advice of the SuSE support data base and reduced my horizontal and vertical refresh rates. They are very near the monitors optimal settings. I have a Diamond Viper 770D RIVA TNT2 card which has the nVIDIA chipset. This is an accelerated video card. I have also installed the nvidia and nv_glx rpms from the SuSE patch site. In addition I added the line Load "glx" to XF86Config. The rest of the KDE applications do not have this problem. Will installing XFree86 4.0.1 make any improvement? <p> Thanks in Advance Jonathan
