Just remember to skip the updates for these downgraded packages, a bit of a hassle, but manageable.
Lock them, then you don't need to skip it for every update. I assume locking can be done with Yast, but I don't know how. On the command line, use: zypper addlock packet 'packet' may also be a shell-style wildcard pattern. zypper locks lists all available locks. Ok, just so I understand correctly about 'packet' - that means the package name for kmail, right? How do I find out what the package name for kmail is? By the way, I downgraded kmail to the one that came with opensuse 11.4, as was suggested, and I am able to get kmail working now. So thanks for the tip on how to do that. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

zypper se -i kma se=search, -i=installed You only need to know part of the package name as any package with the supplied string will be matched.
