Re: [SLE] Backup software with a GUI?
I have used Arkea for years and am very satisfied with it. It manages your tapes quite well and I've had occasion to restore. Sure you can dump/tar/cpio files. If you want to manage the indexing on your own. I've seen some GUI front ends to these. They aren't all that great but work well.

I'm doing some work for someone that needed a quick, cheap, stable server setup. I gave them my copy of SuSE 8.2 and installed a server for them. Now they need backup and recovery software and they want a GUI so they can manage it. Is there anything like this for Linux? Anything sort of like Backup Exec or something? With at least a minimal gui that would allow the user to pick and choose what folders to backup and which files to restore?
