Good. So, that was too easy. Install nano, go to .bashrc, edit line for export editor, save and exit. Now, I have nano. Nice. Thanks. Tom On Sat, 2010-09-25 at 22:34 +0200, Carlos E. R. wrote:

OK, I admit I'm not running SuSE 10.3, and tho I have the live CD, I am not running that right now either. but I simply can't believe that there is only one editor in the os. Tell me that there is no vi, no pico? I'd even be surprised if there's no mc, altho it doesn't come "out of the box" with Ubuntu--ugh! SuSE always had mc. --doug -- Blessed are the peacemakers...for they shall be shot at from both sides. --A.M.
