Here's a quick compare chart with U.S. MSRP and some features: 6.4, $49.95, 6 cds, 2 manuals, 60 days support 7.0 Personal, $39.95, 3 cds, 3 manuals, 60 days support 7.0 Professional $69.95, 6 cds and 1 DVD, 4 manuals, 90 days support 7.0 Prof Upgrade (missed the pricing on this, but around $5 less than the Personal version), 6 cds and 1 DVD, 3 manuals, 60 days support. For those that buy every release a path of 7.0 Prof Full, 7.1 Prof Upgrade, and 7.2 Prof Upgrade will be cheaper than before except for those using the subscriptions and you will be getting more merchandise. Even disregarding the split in packaging and the additional media on Professional, the increase is $20, it's not double, and there is a cheap upgrade version now. I really don't think we have anything to complain about. Greg PS I sure would like to see dump for ReiserFS soon and I still think that they shouldn't switch the version to 7.0 until the new kernel arrives. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

Guess what - the ReiserFS developers have raised the priority of creating Dump for ReiserFS on their TODO List :) They are working on it.
