I installed Suse Linux on a spare workstation but now we need that workstation to run a system that requires Windows (i.e. it is not a SPARE workstation anymore!). I Fdisked the hard drive and formatted it, but it still wants to boot up to LILO. How do I get it to boot to MS-DOS? I NEED to put Windows back on this PC. specialist? boot with a windows boot disk, and when you get to a boot prompt run "fdisk /mbr"

Boot from a bootable windows floppy and type this fdisk /mbr. That should do it. -- Marshall "Nothing is impossible, we just do not have all the anwsers to make the impossible, possible."
