Hiall. looking for something like ScrapBook (https://addons.mozilla.org/en- US/firefox/addon/427) for konqueror, to save snippets or webpages in some orderly fashion. I'm using kde 4.2 on OS 11.1 Any ideas? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Take a look at Basket Note Pads. It's in the software repos as basket. Great app! Thanks, what I was looking for. (Now that I saw basket, I remember reading about it a loooong time ago when kde4 was still only development) On Monday 02 February 2009 01:21:01 pm Bob Williams wrote:

Not only take a look at it ... Install it. Give it 3-weeks and you will wonder how you ever lived without it! Forget saving web pages or notes to files and 'hope' you can find it again, basket let's you categorize all your info and keeps it all in one place. If I had to name the next greatest app to email -- basket would be in the running. For those that haven't used it, I have a few screenshots showing my general layout, and it capabilities. You can literally store anything in basket, text, audio, graphics, etc. I generally limit it to text with links to the graphics. Best part, you can export your baskets in html directly to your website for publishing. Here are a few screenshots of my basket collection: http://www.3111skyline.com/download/screenshots/kde/basket-notepads-layout.j... http://www.3111skyline.com/download/screenshots/kde/basket-notepads.jpg http://www.3111skyline.com/download/screenshots/kde/basket-notepads-sounds.j... Here is an export of the bash scraps I put in my bash basket from different bash sites, documents, this list, etc: http://www.3111skyline.com/download/programming/bash/basket-Bash.html If you are working to learn, 'well .. anything', and you need an app to categorize and hold information in a manner you can "find it again", then basket-notepad is worth it weight in gold. -- David C.
