[opensuse]Powersave on Thinkpad 390x
I have a Thinkpad 390X(P3/650 speedstep running at 500Mhz). With v10.3 and v11.0Beta2, the powersave function wouldn't work unless I added acpi=force to the boot command line. So far, the power saving functions do work properly. The only known issue is that the kpowersaved icon in the system tray seems to always show that the ac adapter is connected. I don't know if this is worthy of a bug report or not, and was wondering if anyone was using a similar Thinkpad and had encountered the same issue. the 570e, 600e, 600x, and 390e seem to all use similar hardware. Also, the local APIC isn't enabled. Would there be any benefit to enabling it. There seems to be a PM-Timer bug on this machine and it says to try other clock sources.....no sure what to try.
