[SuSE Linux] Netscape, ftp, and localhost broken, why?
Hi, I've been fiddling around with my little lan, checking things out. I used to be able to use netscape to ftp via ethernet to another machine, or ftp to localhost. Now I get a message about "broken pipe" in the network. Xftp, and the commandline ftp still work. Anyone know why? I have faster machines now, is netscape prone to timing loop problems when ftp'ing? I'm worried that my tcp/ip subsystem is broke. :-( - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
