Assuming you are in Linux, the printer has already been set up for both KDE and Gnome. Have you tried printing from Evolution? What happened? dj tuchler

Assuming you are in Linux, the printer has already been set up for both KDE and Gnome. Have you tried printing from Evolution? What happened?

I have generic postscript printer and Create pdf. I just tried the generic printer (never thought of that before...duh!) and put in kprinter....it brought up kprinter, I clicked everything as normal, but nothing printed. I then chose lpr from Custom and still nothing. Under kjobviewer, nothing shows open. I just tried to print from a kde app and it worked fine.
