[opensuse] openSUSE-10.2-GM-DVD-x86_64.iso md5sum's do not match
Hello, I downloaded openSUSE-10.2-GM-DVD-x86_64.iso from http://en.opensuse.org/Released_Version twice and get the same md5sum both times. The problem is it does'nt match what is listed in the MD5SUMS list file (from the same page). md5sum openSUSE-10.2-GM-DVD-x86_64.iso = de9c2eff128c8a6209b124986d8c863b listing from the MD5SUMS file: b4d727d2fb62c701233ea537f220e9ee openSUSE-10.2-GM-DVD-x86_64.iso Thanks. The same here. But I tried "media check" and it succeeded. Strange. Haven't try to install from this DVD yet. -- Mark Goldstein -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

The downloads from opensuse.org and the bittorrents were taking too long. (My DSL line has problems when it rains.) So I tried one of the mirrors on http://en.opensuse.org/Mirrors_Released_Version I think it was ftp://suse.mirrors.tds.net/pub/opensuse/distribution/10.2/iso/dvd/openSUSE-10.2-GM-DVD-x86_64.iso It came down and checked out with the md5sum you show in the file. I don't know what you used to download the file, but some of the ftp programs choke at over 2GB. -- Bob -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
