[opensuse] MS Exchange Webmail and Thunderbird
Hi Folks, I thought I'd mention this here before making a bug report, somewhere. Thunderbird 60.0-74.1-x86-64 on Leap 42.3 fails to decrypt email when encrypted with a Smartcard on Microsoft Webmail. Decryption of the identical email works as expected with TB 52.9.1-71.1-x86_64. Decryption also works on Outlook encrypted mail. Only mail encrypted with Webmail is affected. The encrypted message body shows a blank screen with a pkcs7-mime attachment on 60.0. A look at the raw messages show that Webmail wraps its MIME attachments a bit differently. Workaround of going back to 52.9 and locking works for now. Where would I submit a bug report? openSUSE or Mozilla? It's convenient to say its Microsoft's problem, but that doesn't fly if it worked with 52.9. You would test upstream version first and decide based on that.
It's convenient to say its Microsoft's problem, but that doesn't fly if it worked with 52.9.
