[opensuse] amarok-xine for version 2.3.0
Does anyone know if there is amarok-xine for the latest version of amarok (2.3.0) ? Packman repo does not seem to provide amarok-xine for the latest version, but only for kde3-amarok. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Amarok > 2.x does not have or need any engine subpackages like amarok-xine. It is based on phonon instead which is part of KDE, so for example you need (and should already have for any other sound in KDE to work) phonon-backend-xine or phonon-backend-gstreamer. Well, I have installed both (phonon-backend-gstreamer-0_10 and phonon-backend- xine), but still I cannot play mp3 files. Any ideas what else should I install ? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
