yast2 -i /pathto KDE/*.rpm -- Togan Muftuoglu Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer http://dinamizm.ath.cx
Start Yast2 and then choose the system update option and over there select the hard disk and your local directory containing the download. Leo Nils-Olov Fransson wrote:

AFAIK it would work if you have the i386/update/version directory layout since YAST2 looks for patches directory located under the above mentiopned . I could be wrong as I have not tried anything else. -- Togan Muftuoglu Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer http://dinamizm.ath.cx

The problem seems to be that I copied even the directory structure from the mirror. Maybe I should put everything in one big bunch? I also want to update installed application and not install every KDE program there is.

I suppose thera are many other that already have done this. TIA Nils-Olov
