Just to let you know, I've just upgraded to kde-3.5beta succesfully. The rpms are available via the apt repository and the kde-unstable compenent. A simple 'apt dist-upgrade' did the trick. I removed kdetv due to a file conflict problem. As I don't use kdetv at all, that isn't a problem at all. First impression it seems to work :) -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless

What lines did you add/modify in your sources.list? I don't see any announcement about this on the OpenSUSE website. Thanks, Miles

You can track what rpms for suse are being made available at: http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm/freshrpms/ For kde-3.5beta add kde-unstable to the sources.list file. -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless
