I added the following to the /etc/security/limits.conf oracle soft nofile 4096 oracle hard nofile 63536 But the oracle user still has a limit of 1024 max open files. Anyone now where or how to allow this user a higher value? This can be seen with the ulimit -n option. This is easy to do under RedHat. Thank you, Brad Dameron SeaTab Software www.seatab.com
Nevermind. Seems to be a issue with a local X-Term. If I ssh in the settings are there. Strange. Brad Dameron SeaTab Software www.seatab.com On Wed, 2005-04-13 at 11:29, Brad Dameron wrote:
