I just made the switch to SuSE 7.3 from Redhat 7.x, and one of the big deals that I have is that I have to update cups to 1.1.14 as I need it for my Epson C80 printer. Under RH I had it running fine, and I was able to compile it from source, but during the compile last night gcc had a fit with some of the code and bombed out. For RH I have found that it is easy to upgrade as rpms are so easy to come by, but under SuSE it seems harder.
