Hi again,
I'm currently building another SuSE machine and would like to take the web serving off of Itchy (the machine with the modem) to Scratchy, which just has (or will have) a 10Base-T connection to the rest of the LAN.
How can I make sure http requests get from Itchy to Scratchy, and then back again to whoever requested a page? I'm a *total* newbie when it comes to this arena. I'm using wvdial (in case that matters...). <snip>
I'm not sure what you want to do. Are you serving local info on the LAN or doing IP-masquerading through your isp? or serving to the internet from Scratchy through Itchy as the firewall? I'll try to help if I can Tim -- Your computer is dead... it was once so alive....
