Ok, so Im trying to recompile 2.2.1, however I am having this problem, whereby after ./configure diddy@pooter:~/download/kde/src/kdebase-2.2.1> make cd . && autoheader and it then takes ages before compiling. In the Suse Greeting prog, there is this message under "whats new" Because of a new version of autoconf, building of configure scripts may be problematic (most of all with KDE programs). To solve these problems you have to download the templates (the admin directory) of the KDE2.2 sources from the websites of KDE. anyone having this too ? dids
