Hi, I was reading the list awhile ago and some menation that most parallel port web cams should be support while USB support is slow coming. I was looking around the store (about 7 of them) and finally seen a parellel port Quick Cam VC (black) by Logitech, since it was the only parellel port cam I could find, I bought it. Every program I have looked at (including the kernel modules) are saying that the VC models are not supported under linux since Logitech has failed to give enough information to open source developers. I tried the program for the color and black & white and they don't want to work. Has anyone had any luck with this camera? If I take it back to the store for my cash back, what would be a moral explanation of why I want a refund for it? I heard the egg cams where supported under Linux, anyone using a parport web cam that has a decent color /res output? Any recommenations? So I am screwed on the VC right?
