Yes, and jobs appears. In a message that I've sent later, I tell about how I can print test page sending it as a regular job with an 'lpr' command and it's well printed while with other ps files, which validity is tested with PS-View, things does not work. :-/ Plain test files are also well printed. Twomorrow morning (It's 4.09 a.m. here in Spain, no time to do noise with the printer now), I'll try to set cup's logs more verbose following Graham Smith advice to see if I can find something interesting. Have you checked that cups is accepting jobs? I'm sure you can print a test page while cups is not accepting jobs (in case the printer is networked). Do jobs appear in the printer queue but not get printed.

Hello, i'd the same problem with canon bjc-250 and SuSE7.2, i was only able to send jobs with no graphics inside, i mean a job from Star Office with some photograph, i changed the configuration of the printer, setting it to work with 3 colors and not four as it configured by default, then no problems at all. I've set log level to debug2, the more verbose, but nothing special happens. I cannot lost more time with this (ahhhh... where are the times when we've time to do everything we want?), then finally I've uninstalled all cups, installed 'lprold' package from 'n1' series and configure the printer as 'stcolor' using APSFILTER. All right now.
