Hi Has anyone's graphic config gone tits up? I've run Yast and it downloaded some updated Nvidia files and now i can't load a graphics session without using the "Failsafe" option.

From what i can see, the correct nvidia modules are installed (according to nvidia's site) but... depending how i check which board i have installed i can get more than one description of the board. If i use Yast/Hardware, it tells me its a GT200 Geforce 200 (Display section) and a GT218 (Framebuffer section). Now if i save that Yast/Hardware output to a file and search for "nvidia" in that file, it tells me its a Geforce FX5500

I've got this installed:- nvidia-gtxG01-kmp-desktop vers: 173.14.36_k2.6.37.1_1.2-17.1 X11-video-nvidiaG01 vers: 173.14.36-18.1 Can anyone point me to a place to check what the problem is? What also worries me that using the standard tools (Yast2) for updating, it can install "bad" versions (in the sense there is a mismatch somewhere).
