Scenario: SuSE 7.1 + KDE1 How do I manage, runlevel 5, to get SuSE Tour not to start after I log in using KDM? Thanks alot, Raúl P.S.: The other day I was looking around and couldnt completely understand the KDE 1.x & 2.x "going-up" process... perhaps www.kde.org docs?
Raul, In 7.2 (I don't have 7.1) I think that's part of the wizzard (yast wizard?) package, I had that problem and I did a rpm -e for the wizzard, Yast-wizzard? I can't remember the name now, do a search in yast for wizzard, I think that's the one your looking for. If it ain't then ya can always put it back again... <G> btw- mine bacame a pain in the rear also, it was really pissing me off, after removal, it was much happier! I hope this helps, thanks phil

I understand completely. Geeko may be cute, but stare at him for too long, and he begins to look like a paper clip! I seem to remember being presented with an option early on to suppress the automatic launching of the tour. Accompanying it was a reminder that it is always available thru the SuSE icon on the KDE desktop. I selected that option, and it is now available without annoying me unnecessarily. -- Rick Green "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." -Benjamin Franklin
