[opensuse] GRUB loclup - sort of
I recently did a kernel update - the most recent security update - for my opensuse 11.1 box, and now it seems GRUB locks up. But the system doesn't, which is odd to me. At the graphical menu, GRUB will not accept any keyboard input. I can't type and add boot options, or delete what's there. I can't change menu selections or use function keys for the options at the bottom of the screen. I can't drop to GRUB CLI. However, num lock goes on and off, as do caps and scroll, when pressed. I can C-A-D and reboot, but then it just goes right back to the menu and stops. Do I need to boot to the rescue CD and reinstall GRUB? Any help is appreciated.
