[opensuse] import into Yast list of previously installed packages
Has anyone ever used the "Export" and then "Import" functions in Yast's "Software Management" section? If so, did it work? After searching quite a bit for documentation and/or discussion on that feature (?), I found only this: https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/497411-import-package-list which was doubtful... but that discussion was from four years ago, so perhaps there have been positive developments. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I am sure I have tried that, but it's been a long time. Years. I don't remember my tests being successful. Would be easy to test though. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (11.9°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - your free DNS host, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I was one of the participants in that discussion, and AFAIK circumstances have not changed. But I have not tested it personally since then. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.3 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)
