It's not just free, it's open source. And there are ssh and ssl modules available for it.
I don't have the URL handy... search on tucows, they have it listed I think.
Just look at our first CD. There's a subdirectory called dosutils, which also contains TTerm (including SSH support) Bye, LenZ ------------------------------------------------------------------ Lenz Grimmer SuSE GmbH mailto:grimmer@suse.de Schanzaeckerstr. 10 <A HREF="http://www.suse.de/~grimmer</A">http://www.suse.de/~grimmer 90443 Nuernberg, Germany - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/ and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html

Our solution to this - as you never know *which* Windows machine we want to telnet to your SuSE box from (and I assume that *is* what you're asking this for or you'd be off-topic of course :-)) was to set up a page on our box with the Telnet applet on it. Then from x.random_windows_machine we can start a browser and go to that page and telnet in. It seems to be a complete implementation of Telnet - it works really well. You can see it on my machine at <<A HREF="http://lintilla.demon.co.uk/telnet/</A">http://lintilla.demon.co.uk/telnet/> though you'll forgive me if I don't give you a login name as I'm running 2.2.0 and am thus vulnerable to that core dump fix bug. :-) There's a link to the place I got it from on that page. -- Rachel - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/ and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html
