Take a peek at /etc/init.d/README and /etc/init.d/rc*.d/ Also YaST might be of some help: have a look at System/Runlevel editor. I hope this is sufficient. BTW, I'm just curious, why do you not use SuSEfirewall2, instead of trying to install another (RedHat based?) firewall? Leen
