Hi. There IS a problem with x*3.3.3-3. I installed it and couldnt get gimp and windowmaker to work. Deinstalled it, reinstalled the xstuff on the record. Everything works perkect again. IO use a s3 card. I'm using Gimp 1.1 with the xsvga 3.3.3-3 with no problems (Matrox Millennium 1). No problems with Gimp 1.0.1 either. People are reporting problems when using xsvga 3.3.3-3 with G200s however. Maybe its a hardware problem?

Does anyone know what package causes the bug that crashes Gimp with the new xservers for matrox / associated stuff (xsvga/xf86/xfsetup)? Is there a way to avoid loading it and run a G100 card? k.
