[SLE] wvdial.dod writes over chap-secrets...
I am having difficulty, lately, dialing into my ISP and have found that wvdial.dod is inserting quotes around my username and password in my chap-secrets file. When I delete the quotes, they still end up in there. The problem is, my connection never works with the quotes in the password file - my ISP gives a password authorization error, yet when I take the quotes out and do a regular wvdial (not the .dod version) it works perfectly. I am stumped. I tried changing the permissions on the chap-secrets file to root read-only, but since wvdial.dod is also running as root, it writes right over them.
