Hey Group: Last night I was helping a guy with SuSE8 try and make YaST2 find a video driver which was in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers (as I remember). The module_old.o was placed in that directory by a SuSE RPM. Problem is that YaST2 knowledge of this module doesn't find it. Therefore, it is not able to be istalled via YaST nor does YaST2 offer it as a NEW selection. Where is it that YaST2 hides its config scripts or where is it set (/etc/modules.conf?) for that module to be loaded. He has a miserable S3 pci LO memory video card. He is currently using standard VGA 16b color. -- 73 de Donn Washburn __ " http://www.hal-pc.org/~n5xwb " Ham Callsign N5XWB / / __ __ __ __ __ __ __ 307 Savoy St. / /__ / / / \/ / / /_/ / \ \/ / Sugar Land, TX 77478 /_____/ /_/ /_/\__/ /_____/ /_/\_\ LL# 1.281.242.3256 a MSDOS Virus "Free Zone" OS Email: n5xwb@hal-pc.org Info: http://www.knoppix.com
