This just gets better and better....NOT
Hi All - Thanks to those who tossed some good ideas my way regarding Zip drives & installation thereof. There are a whole new set of problems now. 1) My floppy won't work. /etc/fstab reads properly, but i get an error message that /dev/fd0 is not a valid block device. (It was at one time). 2) The zip drive is not sda4, nor hdd4, nor anything at all...yet. 3) I have all the kernel support for the zipdrive. I'm still getting unresolved symbols at boot-time. 4) I have read the HOW_TO's. All of them. Not that it has done me ANY good. Please - is there *any* other document NOT included in the 6.1 distro that would help? Any suggestions - OTHER than reading the HOW-TO's - would be most welcome. Thanks in advance... -- islandwolf "live from the den of ubiquity"
