Does something like "yast --mask nameserver" work in YaST2???
It is possible to call a sub module in YaST directly and then quit instead of jumping back to the menu. E.g. yast --mask nameserver --autoexit Is it possible to do the same thing in yast2 or do I have to use the whole GUI? Thanks, Magnus

Yes, that is possible. Try "yast2 lan_dns", for example. These modules are located in /usr/lib/YaST2/clients. "rpm -qa | grep yast2-config" will show you, which modules you can call.

No, this is not needed. And it works on the text console as well!
