[opensuse] Can fsck options be specified somewhere in sysconfig or /etc/init.d (for /forcefsck)?
All, I am curious is there a /etc/init.d/boot.xzy file that can be created (or options added to) or an option somewhere in /etc/sysconfig that can be used to set options for fsck.ext3 for run on next boot when using /forcefsck or shutdown -Fr ? -- David C. Interesting question. Looking at the output of "systemd-analyze blame", I find what scans the disks at boot: 1.109s systemd-fsck@dev-disk-by\x2dlabel-a_boot_2.service 401ms systemd-fsck@dev-disk-by\x2dlabel-c_home.service (I can not locate the entry for the root filesytem, though) The service files are here: Telcontar:~ # locate systemd-fsck /usr/lib/systemd/systemd-fsck /usr/lib/systemd/system/systemd-fsck-root.service /usr/lib/systemd/system/systemd-fsck@.service /usr/lib/systemd/system/local-fs.target.wants/systemd-fsck-root.service /usr/share/man/man8/systemd-fsck-root.service.8.gz /usr/share/man/man8/systemd-fsck.8.gz /usr/share/man/man8/systemd-fsck@.service.8.gz Telcontar:~ # But: 1) They are binaries, not scripts, so I can't find out what exactly they do. 2) The man pages say close to nothing. There is mention of "force" mode, but triggered from the kernel line. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)
