OT: LPI or SAIR certification?
Hi! I am considering getting certified in Linux. LPI and SAIR seemed to be at the top of vendor neutral certification programs. I would appreciate any information on which of these is the better way to go concerning real value and longevity. Thank you in advance, Ming-Che -- ICQ#: 126097979

I think the LPI program is very well done. The tests were built with heavy community involvement and their sponsors include SuSE, IBM, Caldera, Turbolinux, etc. They have an international focus, not just North America. Every time I have worked with them, it has been a professional experience. Since the tests are vendor neutral, you'll find questions that cover all types of distributions. I can't comment on SAIR since I don't know anything about their program. Best Regards, Keith -- LPIC-2, MSCE, N+ you may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one Got spam?
