[SuSE Linux] re. CS4232 sound card
Hi- Thanks to the folks who sent me suggestion on how to get my sound card working. I finally gave up on trying to configure it using isapnp. I found that if I compiled the sound support directly into the kernel instead of doing it as a module I was presented with an opportunity to directly assign the IO ports and irq in the kernel configuration menu. When I rebooted with the new kernel the sound worked just fine. On to the parallel ports and printers.
