Often the window called by ALT+F2 hangs. Does anyone meet the same

You can troubleshoot it by clicking the spanner icon on the alt-f2 dialog and methodically disabling plugins until the hang behaviour ceases to occur. The 'Command Line' plugin is the one you probably rely on to launch apps by binary name, if that helps.
