Hi everyone, I just upgraded a computer from SuSE 8.0 to 8.1. When I try to boot the computer, the boot process stalls. The boot appears to go normally for a while, the the following error messages appear: Starting Soundmodem/etc/ax25/soundmodem.conf:1: error: Document is empty sm[1595]: Error parsing config file "/etc/ax25/soundmodem.conf" sm[1594]: SoundModem init failed startproc: exit status of parent of /usr/sbin/soundmodem: 1 Starting hardware scan on boot After the line about the hardware scan is displayed, the boot process completely stops. I'm still a relative newbie to Linux, so I would appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks very much. Dom -- Powered by Outblaze
