Hi folks, Got hold of a used Dell OptiPlex 575 P75 with on board vidio On boot up the screen says Pheonix S3 Trio64 Vidio Bios The chip on the M/B says S3 Trio 64 EOA2AA 86C764X 9548 NU38309 Korea Any one know how this vidio is , Do you need to set the vidio ram amount under Bios ? Or is it also built in on the motherboard. How well suported by suse linux is it ?? On boot up it dows not state how much vidio ram it has , like the diamond vidio cards is it becouse it shares the ram , and you set how much to give to vidio from main board ram ? It has 32 meg of ram currently with an ide 1/2 gig drive , 4 com ports and 3 lpt ports. Quit impressive machine made by dell, old but chock full of ports. Any way any idea how to set it up for x ? , is it any good for X , or will it only serve as firewall. ip masq machine. Still have the 486 standby , should finish reinstalling the os today. Then can start to set it up as a firewall. That will allow me to press the P75 into a plian vanill pc station to rum WP for making 8.5X11 sings . So x would be nice on it. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
