Some time ago I inquired on this list about what it would take to get a PIC or AVR microcontroller programming/development environment going on linux (specifically my then-Suse 8.0 setup). A few people expressed interest. OB Suse, it would be very nice to have this stuff already integrated on the Suse disc(s). :) (Apologies in advance if some or all of this is already included in suse's more recent distributions. I've just recently purchased suse 9.2 but with the holidays I haven't yet had a chance to crack it open.)
