Help. I recently switched from Red Hat 5.0 to S.u.S.E. 5.1. I didn't realize that Applixware was designed for Red Hat. I tried to ./install-applix from my /cdrom but got a "Permission Denied" message. I also tried to install it with RPM but was informed that Applix menus was also needed. Does anyone know how I might install it? I really enjoy using it. BTW I also am really enjoying S.u.S.E. 5.1.
Thanks,
Phil Bennett

Hey Phil.. I had the same problem when I changed from Red Hat 5.0 to S.u.S.E.. Solution: Please follow the instructions on the README file in CDROM. Also, you can go here for details on how to install it.. Basically, you have to do it manually.. <A HREF="http://www.suse.de/Support/sdb_e/lr_applix_fehler.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.de/Support/sdb_e/lr_applix_fehler.html</A">http://www.suse.de/Support/sdb_e/lr_applix_fehler.html hope this helps!!
