Not yet, Steve. Still waiting for 9.2 to arrive. But I placed a call to Codeweavers a few days ago to ask about using V3.0.1 with SuSE 9.2. So far, no reply. Gil

A friend just a few miles away received his new box set this morning, I expect to see him post his comments here this evening. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Hamradio G3VBV and keen Flyer =====LINUX ONLY USED HERE=====
I have just installed cxoffice 3.1.0 beta 3 on SuSE 9.2. The only problem I had was with the menu entries which did not appear until I restarted KDE. I have ntot tried cxoffice 3.0.1 as the beta version is working fine for my requirements. -- Regards, Graham Smith ---------------------------------------------------------

3.0.1 is what is being installed here.. How much money does Gates get for a reboot I wonder? Since there seem to be about 3 or 4 "simulated" ones in this install of Office ??? IT can't need to reboot the box to see if it has borked somethign more than once , can it ???? Not to mention I should think if he/his people wrote good code there would be less not more need for them to reboot. But I recall lots of stuff has memory leaks. <sigh> hurray! success, and all menus seem to be in thier proper places ... there are some "display problems" that apparently Crossover guys know about and I presume are working on.. to my eye it's mainly cosmetics... but hey, what do I know <G> -- j -- nemo me impune lacessit

"Brown" delivered mine this afternoon. Will open the box tomorrow morning. Will be a few days though because I am going to proceed "cautiously" from my old 8.2 onto a brand new AMD 64 box. Stay tuned. Bob S.
Installed CXoffice 3.0.1 with SuSE 9.2. Installation went flawlessly, if slowly (damned "simulated Windows reboots"!) ;o) Word seems to work well, though I have not given it a full test of all features. Did notice 1 bug that I informed Codeweavers about many months ago is still not fixed. When in a text document, if you scroll rapidly the text display falls apart into numerous partial images of the same line(s). Codeweavers has fixed the problem (I have a beta of 3.0.1 that works perfectly), but they did not have time to fix this bug before release of 3.0.1. Powerpoint also seems to work (again, only a preliminary check). One thing I did notice is that pictures embedded within slides are stretched horizontally. It's not a lot, but it absolutely is noticeable that the slides look different than when they're viewed using SuSE 9.1. More to report in the next few days. I will be loading my 3.0.1 beta for a complete test. Gil
I deleted CXoffice 3.0.1 (version available on Crossover website) that had the MSWord display problems I described in posting yesterday. Just installed CXoffice 3.0.1 (beta). This works fine -- no display problems. So I'd take this to mean that as soon as the Crossover folks release a new update with this fix then all will be well with the world. ;o) But in the meantime I think CXoffice should run fine under SuSE 9.2! ;o) Gil
