Which rpms make up a rather complete/usefull gnome2?
Hi, which rpms make a rather complete gnome2 installation? The installation of gnome-utils2 requires the rpms listed below. Missing are for example: - nautilus - sawfish/metacity - bug-buddy2 - gconf-editor - gnome2-suse - scrollkeeper I would like to create a (virtual) rpm, that pulls in the most common used gnome2 rpms. This to make the gnome2 installation easier for unexperienced gnome users. (With the virtual gnome2 rpm it will be possible to do: "apt-get install gnome2" :)). Is the above list above, are there too many rpms? Rpms necessary for the gnome-utils2 rpm: atk bonobo-activation gconf2 glib2 gnome-desktop gnome-panel gnome-vfs2 gtk2 libart_lgpl libbonobo libbonoboui libglade2 libgnome libgnomecanvas libgnomeui libidl libwnck linc orbit2 pango -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless
