The "My Computer" icon brings up a konqueror window with the sysinfo:/ screen, but what it reports for "Disk Information" is interesting. It has entries for 1) both partitions of this drive, 2) the usb drive that is plugged in and 3) the floppy drive, but I have two other disk drives in the computer, one has 4 partitions and the other has one (ntfs). Both of those drives are disabled in the bios. I can mount them because the OS sees them, regardless of what the bios says. Yast Hardware sees them.
