I just wanted to add third party package repositories using 'Installation Source' in YAST control center, but it just seems to wait indefinetly on 'Adding installation source' dialog after I put put in values and click to add the source. Is there any debug mode or log file or command line alternative that tells what is going on? regards, ashutosh

I guess it is reading the contents of the new installation source, which can take a while - especially on overloaded servers ;-) The YaST2 logfiles can be found in /var/log/YaST2/ Regards, Christian Boltz -- Eigentlich bin ich stolz darauf, dass mein PC sich weigert, Windows verpasst zu bekommen. 11.2.2005 I found that annoying also. What I did was simply click out of it, then restarted again. Did the trick. Moreover, the problem went away after that! Later, John
