USB Thumdrive issue
I have a PNY Attache USB 2 256 mb USB Thumbdrive. It will mount fine on Solaris 10, Mac OS X 10.4 and SuSE 10, but when I umount it or even just pull it out of the USB drive, those machines kernel panic. I have waited for inactivity on the machines and everytime they kernel panic. I dont think anythings wrong with the drive as the machines pick it up and I can drag files to and from. Its really weird. The activity doesnt happen with all my USB Thumbdrives, I have 3 Cruzer minis and they work fine, just the PNY. Also the drive works with Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003. I have looked at the system logs to see if I could pinpoint the problem but apparantly the crash happens too quickly and the logs dont report it. dmesg also reports it when I plug it in. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
